You'll get to experience sailing and have fun climbing and diving around Sardinia's cool and rocky terrain. The island's dramatic coastlines and ancient rock formations, sculpted over thousands of years, provide an amazing setting for climbers and divers of every skill level. Imagine yourself in a pretty bay, surrounded by big cliffs, listening to the sea. In the evenings, we might stop at different ports to see Sardinia's culture and stunning nature, or stay in the bay for more adventures the next day. Sardinia, a jewel in the Mediterranean, is well known for its diverse scenery, from white sandy beaches to towering cliffs and hidden coves. The island is dotted with charming coastal towns and villages, each telling its own unique story. From the famous Costa Smeralda to the unspoiled beauty of Cala Gonone, Sardinia's coastline is a tapestry of natural wonders. The average temperature typically ranges between 18°C (64°F) to 28°C (82°F) and sunny days with about 9 to 11 hours of sunshine, allowing plenty of time for sailing, cflimbing and diving. The island's unique geography, with its steep cliffs and towering mountains, also offers some of the best climbing experiences in Europe. So, whether you're looking to sail the azure seas, ascend majestic heights, or simply immerse yourself in the island's rich culture and history, Sardinia is a great destination for your next adventure.

SAILING

The winds in June are generally favorable for sailing, often providing smooth and enjoyable conditions. The Mistral wind from the northwest can be a bit stronger, makes for challenging sailing. Wether you are a beginner or advanced sailor, our skipper will lead you how to hoist the sails, use the ropes or steer the boat. As a team we will have a shit load of fun! We will sail the area from Olbia and Tavolara to Cala Gonone and Baunei. This area offers a variety of mooring spots and picturesque anchorages, from peaceful coves to beautiful, sandy beaches, for swimming, snorkeling, or simply relaxing on deck. As night falls, we'll dropping anchor on safe, sandy grounds. Here, under the starlit sky, we'll observe the stars in their full glory, creating a magical atmosphere. This moment of connection with nature is the perfect way to end your day before drifting off to sleep.

DIVING

A maximum of 2 days with two dives each can be booked for this adventure!

Dive into the mesmerizing world around Tavolara Island, a part of a protected marine area known for its exceptional visibility and vibrant marine life. Here, we will encounter a diverse underwater landscape featuring coral gardens, steep cliffs, and a myriad of sea creatures. Enhance your diving experience with the allure of wreck diving in this region. Explore the KT12, a World War II German transport ship near Cagliari, resting at about 30 meters deep. Near Porto Conte, the Nasello, an Italian warship from World War II, lies at a similar depth. It provides a fascinating exploration opportunity, with its structure now home to various fish species and marine flora. Diving in Sardinia's east coast is an unforgettable experience, combining natural splendors with fascinating historical wrecks. CLIMBING

A maximum of 4 days climbing can be booked for this adventure.

Climbing on Sardinia's east coast is known for its wide range of climbing routes. From traditional and sport climbing to bouldering and deep water soloing, there's something for every type of climber. The routes vary in difficulty, making it a suitable destination for beginners as well as advanced climbers. Characterised by limestone cliffs, this type of rock is known for its solid quality and interesting features, such as pockets and overhangs, which provide a variety of challenges for climbers. Climbing in this area is not just about the sport; it's also about the breathtaking views. Many of the climbing spots are set against the backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea, offering stunning views of the coastline and turquoise waters.

Cala Gonone:

Its most famous coves are Cala Luna, Cala Fuili and Cala Goloritzé, each known for its unique rock formations and scenic beauty. This area has sport climbing and multi-pitch routes.

 

Baunei:

One of the most famous climbing spots in Baunei is the Cala Goloritzé, a beach accessible only by foot or by boat. This area is home to the iconic Aguglia di Goloritzé, a 143-meter high limestone monolith, offering some of the most spectacular and unique climbing routes in the world. Baunei offers a variety of climbing routes, from traditional to sport climbing, suitable for different levels of climbers. The limestone cliffs provide a range of difficulties and styles, including overhangs and technical slabs.

What do I have to bring:

  • Waterproof jacket and trousers one warm sweater, sport shoes and thin gloves for sailing
  • Climbing shoes, Helmet, Harness, Quickdraws, Trade climbing gear, Belay device, Rope, Chalk bag, HMS
  • Mask, snorkel, fins, neoprene boots, cloves and wetsuit, dive jacket, breath regulator, dive computer
  • Personal medication and toiletries
  • We have life vests on board but feel free to bring your own if you like.
  • Please bring your luggage in a soft bag, no suitcase!

If you don’t have any equipment or missing something, you can rent it of course. Our guide will organise everything you need. Please let us know in the booking!
